ABOUT

MAKING OUR WAY THROUGH THE DESERTS ONE COLLAR AT A TIME

Hey! My name is Annabelle, I founded Molina Paws of Yuma in July of 2017, and officially opened in late August. I live in Yuma, Arizona (US) with my husband and two dogs; Princess and Roxie. They both were adopted from our local Humane Society, and to say the least- we could not be happier with them! Princess is an "all-smiles" red nose Pitbull, and Roxie has the face of a Jack Russell Terrier, and the patches of, well we're not quite sure!

I very much appreciate you taking the time to look through my shop.

To the beginning, our first few weeks with Princess we started to realize just how much energy a 2 year old pitty could have! She loved being

outdoors, and doing every activity with us. This meant a lot of time using her collar and leash. Her very first collar, was a soft leather by some brand at Petsmart. We had a weekend at the beach and, no good. Her collar could not be restored from the oh-so-scary outdoors. Fear not fellow pet owners, with what was our current situation! I immediately got into making Parachute Cord Collars (paracord). There was a lot of trial and error, but finally I have crafted several options listed here on our page! Luckily for you, we offer custom made collars- Don't see YOUR color? Message me! We will stir something up together! I had started with a plain, simple black buckle, which just wasn't enough for Princess and broke away at the slightest tug (which for her is a pretty strong tug). All of the paracord collars come with a strong, metal (silver or space grey) buckle. Typically I would vouch for a "break away" buckle, but it just does not do the paracord justice. Each collar is woven tightly, to fit your pet's neck as snug, yet loose as possible. Each dog is different, just like humans, there being a variety of sizes in inches for every neck.

Next came sweet baby Roxie in August. She loved her new paracord collar I had made for her, but something was missing. Another accessory. Something

to make her stand out. Bandanas! So I got to work. Princess and Roxie both model so confidently for me, so through many many BAD bandanas, I finally came to a final product. With my pups being such different sizes, it's easy to see these bandanas are crafted for every pet! (Yes pet, as in my kitty Cloe likes to wear them as well.) Our viewers loved them, our friends and family loved them, but I felt as though just a few cute cotton patterns wasn't going to cut it. Then I realized velvet has been such a huge trend in the past year in clothes lines, so why can't pets wear it too? I looked far and wide across the world wide web, to see if anyone else had the idea before me; the answer was no. I grabbed some velvet from the store, and to this day I like to believe the velvet bandana is Roxie's favorite! Then came several other out-of-the-ordinary patterns and materials- you get the point.

Moral of my story, I have a backbone of friends supporting me, my husband, and the main acts Princess and Roxie. They have definitely changed

things for me and I would not be where I am today without them as my loving inspiration.
